Braised Steak with Green Peppers

Not all steak is meant to be grilled.

There, I said it. Occasionally, steak is best when braised. Try this delicious lowfat recipe and see for yourself.

1 1/2 lbs. lean steak, cut into 1/4" strips
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
1 3/4 cup beef broth
1 cup canned tomatoes (with juice)
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large green pepper, cut in strips OR
1 medium zucchini, cut into chunks
1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
